28 Days Later

A staple in the growing zombie horror niche, “28 Days Later” takes most of the elements we love from the genre and carries them to a much more cinematic level. Cillian Murphy was a wise casting choice by Danny Boyle, as he shoulders the shifting moods like a pro, even turning the wild third act into a somewhat enjoyable experience. Fresh faced Naomie Harris shows huge potential as the strong female presence while Brendan Gleeson is an overall positive addition as well. Boyle succeeds in adding his own spin and flair to this well tread genre.
