As much as I thoroughly enjoyed “Contagion”, I do not feel like this is an Academy Award film. Hopefully I will be proven wrong especially since there are many great elements in this film including an exquisitely subtle score by Cliff Martinez (also did the score for “Drive”) and great directing from Steven Soderbergh.
