Winning an Oscar at a prior Academy Awards ceremony definitely puts an actor/actress in the driver’s seat when it comes to getting nominated again. Sandra Bullock has enough steam to be another front-runner at this year’s Oscars and, though I have yet to see the film, “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” appears like “The Blind Side” of 2011, with family values and strong emotion. The film is also based on a popular book, so Adapted Screenplay is not far out of reach either.
