Any film with the name Clint Eastwood attached is destined to be nominated for an Academy Award. Not only do I believe a Best Picture nod will come from this film but also Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Make-up (probably Best Original Screenplay as well). Having just seen this film last night, the Oscar feel is definitely in this film and though it was not perfection by any means, I believe it will gain tons of admiration during Oscar season. DiCaprio’s performance is close to one of the best performances I have witnessed all year and the make-up was absolutely stunning.
