The surprise success of the summer, “The Help” held the top spot in the weekend box office for four straight weekends in a row, having made $168 million in its theater run,  and only costing about $25 million to produce. With astonishing and heartwarming performances from several of the actresses in the film, specifically Viola Davis and Jessica Chastain, some acting nominations are almost guaranteed. Also, I see both Art Direction and Costume Design being honored, as well as the Screenplay (and those are just my safe bets for this film). I would not be surprised (especially with the expanded Best Picture category) if this one slipped into the big nomination as well.
