PASSION / You know Brian De Palma as the director of Scarface, The Untouchables, and Mission: Impossible (Snake Eyes is also a favorite), but De Palma’s latest venture is depicted above with Rachel McAdams (my favorite actress) kissing Noomi Rapace (an actress who I am astounded by). With two gorgeous and powerful women, I am excited to see what De Palma can do with these two on-creen.

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR / The rumor mill is running rampant with news on the upcoming sequel to the hit Sin City.  With Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson rumored to be returning, it will not only be exciting to see who returns from the original but what Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller can bring to the table this time around.

007: SKYFALL / Trying to keep my distance on this one, there’s not much to say besides, I cannot wait to see this, especially in IMAX, if it delivers how I hope it will. Daniel Craig makes a great James Bond and it can only get better in this next installment.

ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES / Ever since Will Ferrell announced the sequel to Anchorman in a surprise appearance on Conan O’Brien’s TBS late night show, everyone has been pumped for the first real word. Well, with this poster and rumored teaser coming before the opening of The Dictator, we can only expect tons of promotion in the upcoming year, leading to a 2013 release.

THE BABYMAKERS / After a recent viewing of Beerfest, I found myself asking whatever happened to the old Broken Lizard gang, especially actor and director Jay Chandrasekhar. My question was answered when I saw this newest poster for a comedy titled The Babymakers, about a couple who want children, but convinced he is “shooting blanks”, actor Paul Schneider (one of my all-time favorite actors) embarks in the heist of a sperm bank. Digging a little deeper, Chandrasekhar has actually been directing many television series including Psych, Community, Chuck, Up All Night, and Happy Endings. Though the pregnancy genre is getting rather played out this year, if anyone can spice it up, I definitely trust the director of Super Troopers and Beerfest.
