TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN – PART TWO || November 16th, 2012

ANNA KARENINA || As much as I’m growing apart from enjoying Keira Knightley in her films, I’ve always had a thing for period pieces and love stories. “Anna Karenina” has great looking visuals, amazing costume design, and what looks to be strong performances, making it very easy for me to go out and see this film. |

TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN – PART TWO || Is it safe to say it’s over? With no intention of ever seeing any of these films, this looks like the worst one yet, with some laughable storyline about a battle amongst vampires. And with Kristen Stewart now a vampire, and jumping through the air with no laws of gravity and mauling deer, this becomes pure and utter drivel. With Stewart open to take more roles like “On The Road”, which looks promising, maybe I can actually start to enjoy her.

BACK TO THE SEA || The animations is bad, the voice-acting is lame, and this is 100% a cheap knock-off of “Finding Nemo” capitalizing on the recent 3D release of the Disney classic. Not quite anime, not quite Disney animation, there’s is absolutely nothing selling the film and it is sad to even see it got made. |

BARRYMORE || Christopher Plummer is an amazing actor, but seeing a glorified stage play in a film is not my idea of a good time. With a very odd style about it, Plummer plays John Barrymore in the 1940’s, as he struggles through playing Richard III. Though I have no doubt in Plummer’s ability to capture the heart of this role, it still doesn’t mean I have any interest in seeing it. |

HOLY MOTORS || The trailer alone with the crazy music and even crazier imagery does not make me want to see this film. But then I read this review: “this mad hatter’s monsterpiece may be the best film of the year”. Do those words mean much these days? Not really. But color me the slightest bit intrigued. |

PRICE CHECK || Parkey Posey appears to be the only thing going for this film, with an eccentric way about her matched with a sexy control over the man she’s having an affair with. Although none of this completely pulls me in, there is the slightest bit of me that wouldn’t mind checking out this film. |

SON OF SARDAAR || This looks like a joke… even for a Bollywood film. |
