Chris Renaud is no stranger to Dr. Seuss adaptations, with “Horton Hears A Who” also under his belt, and he’s no stranger to the Academy Awards, with a nomination in 2007 for an Animated Short by the name, “No Time For Nuts”, starring the “Ice Age” character, Scrat. With an ever expanding pool of animated films, “The Lorax” teeters on the top tier of those feature films, with great visuals and a meaningful message, but it could easily be pushed out by films like Pixar’s “Brave” and Disney’s “Wreck-It Ralph”.
