Another release focusing mainly on garnering Golden Globes attention, Judd Apatow has only ever witnessed Academy Awards glory last year with a nomination for writing on “Bridesmaids”. Not to say this couldn’t be his year, but “This Is 40” just doesn’t appear strong enough to hack up against the competition. I’d be very surprised to see this film come up with any Oscar nominations.
