Nevada strays completely from the pack and gives “Gone Girl” its first Best Film of the Year win. It really is a great film and should get some recognition come Academy Award time but one vote isn’t going to do it much. “Nightcrawler” also gets some love, both for Dan Gilroy (Director and Screenplay) and Jake Gyllenhaal. “Big Hero 6” also gets one of its first Best Animated movie wins, beating out “The Lego Movie”.
