A HOLOGRAM FOR THE KING || After so many reliable years, Tom Hanks can mostly carry any film, but “A Hologram For The King” looks a little thin, even for him. Following his character, Alan Clay, as he travels to Saudi Arabia and tries to sell a particular technology to the King while facing a completely different type of living. Besides Hanks, there doesn’t seem to be much going on here.

THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER’S WAR || Despite desperately not needing a sequel to “Snow White and the Huntsman,” this one could have been a whole lot worse. Dubbed as a prequel, but really encapsulating a strange before and after prequel/sequel mix, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth reprise their roles, with Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain stepping aboard, and elevating the otherwise standard fantasy fare, especially Chastain, who steals the show.
