A BIGGER SPLASH || Ralph Fiennes, Dakota Johnson, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Tilda Swinton find themselves in on a tropical island, in this love triangle where singer Swinton and her partner Schoenaerts’ rest and relaxation is interrupted by Fiennes, a record producer and old flame, and Dakota, his daughter. With Dakota being the sex bomb that starts attracting Schoenaerts and Fiennes looking to rekindle things with Swinton, this looks fairly original with an incredible cast to boot.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR || This lands right near the sweet spot of superhero films, especially in regards to character-packed installments in line with “The Avengers.” Pitting Captain America versus Iron Man, the battles feel more intense than say Superman versus Batman, just because there feels to be so much more at stake. The supporting cast is given as much screen-time and motivation as possible. And the brand new characters in Black Panther and Spider-Man end up stealing the show and adding a sense of re-invigoration.
