BAD MOMS || Putting together an ensemble cast of moms, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn decide to throw in the towel as good moms and decide to indulge themselves. The only hope is that this R-rated comedy can live up to its dirty nature, because at least from the trailer, things like poking a nursing bra and falling off a bar stool are simply just not funny enough to be considered raunchy and hilarious.
JASON BOURNE || Almost ten years since Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass collaborated on the third film of Robert Ludlim’s Bourne series, they return to bring us “Jason Bourne.” Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander take up the roles of the CIA directors while Julia Stiles returns to play on Bourne’s side. This time it looks like Bourne finds out why he signed up for Treadstone in the first place and it sounds like he was lied to. Hopefully this reaches beyond that and delivers something slightly more original.
NERVE || Emma Roberts and Dave Franco take to this thrilling social media action romp where an online game Nerve puts up real money to get people to do things and once you’re in, there’s no way to get out but moving forward. Timely, with Pokemon Go stealing away the masses to their phones and to the streets, “Nerve” taps into that social media frenzy in what looks like an intense and interesting way.
