SUICIDE SQUAD || Still not quite up to the standards sets by Marvel, “Suicide Squad” has its heart in the right place but still fails to execute a structure sound and coherent film that doesn’t feel like it needed a few more drafts before completion. The Joker, despite touting Jared Leto’s unforgettable performance, is hardly used, the story itself is all based in one dark, dreary night with a forgettable villain with a forgettable purpose. While all the great parts are great, like Will Smith and Margot Robbie, the bad parts are even worse. |
