Doctor Strange and Trolls hang on to the top spot this week, while new releases Arrival and Almost Christmas follow suit in the number three and four positions. Shut In, a Naomi Watts thriller, was the only other new release on the chart at number seven. Last week’s release Loving finds its way onto the chart, with the biggest increase of the week, while Ai Dil Hai Mushkil has the biggest drop of nine points and will likely fall off the chart next week. Falling off this week was Kevin Hart: What Now?, Denial, which had a nice run on the chart, The Birth Of A Nation, which fell a fast and sudden death unfortunately and Suicide Squad, which is officially out of theaters after 14 weeks on the charts, headed towards a digital release this week and home video release soon. The Magnificent Seven nears the end of its run, holding onto the number 25 spot, while A Man Called Ove and The Secret Life Of Pets do not appear to be going anywhere, both moving up a point. How long can Pets last, with a home video release on its way as well? Next week will likely be taken by the next evolution of the Harry Potter saga, with the prequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, but the lack of star power save for Eddie Redmayne and Colin Farrell, could deter it minimally, in my opinion.
