CALL OF DUTY: WWII|| Having never been a huge fan of the Call Of Duty video games, I have to say, there’s something hugely appealing about heading into older wars, like WWII, in this particular game and fighting Nazis. Plus, this produced in a very cinematic way, even so far as to add voices and likenesses of Hollywood actors, including Josh Duhamel (Transformers), Jonathan Tucker (100 Girls and The Texas Chain Massacre), and Jeffrey Pierce (Amazon’s Bosch). The game’s story is described as: “set primarily in the final year of the war, but also touching upon events from the previous four years, these soldiers fight to preserve freedom in the face of tyranny throughout iconic locations in the European Theater as the Allied forces are finally starting to gather strength on their march into Germany.”

This is actually the 14th release under the Call Of Duty title, with the franchise mostly consisting of combat in modern wars. But the original, released October 2003, was set during WWII but featured “multiple viewpoints staged in the British, American, and Soviet theaters of World War II.”

Call Of Duty: WWII was developed and will be released by Activision and Sledgehammer Games. It will hit PS4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on November 3, 2017.
