ASSASSIN’S CREED ORIGINS || Assassin’s Creed Origins is the tenth major installment in the franchise and acts as a prequel to the rest of the franchise, supposedly showing the very first assassin. “Displaying the origins of the struggle between the Assassins, who fight for peace with liberty, and the Templars, who desire peace through order, the story is set in Ptolemaic Egypt and follows Bayek, a Medjay, as he works to protect his people from threats. The open world design lets players freely roam Egypt.” There is no multiplayer gameplay.

“Players complete quests—linear scenarios with set objectives—to progress through the story, while outside of quests players can freely roam the open world on foot, horseback, camel-back or boat. Unlike previous games there will not be many tall structures to climb to unlock areas of the map, and a new reaction-based combat system will be featured. Unlike the previous two games, naval combat and tomb raiding will be featured.”

It is set to be released worldwide on October 27, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
