INGRID GOES WEST
Synopsis: Ingrid Thorburn (Aubrey Plaza) is a mentally unstable young woman in Pennsylvania who becomes obsessed with Taylor Sloane (Elizabeth Olsen), a social media “influencer” with a seemingly perfect life in Los Angeles. When Ingrid decides to drop everything and move to the West Coast to befriend Taylor in real life, her behavior turns unsettling and increasingly dangerous. The film premiered in competition at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award.
