LEWIS GILBERT
March 6, 1920 – February 23, 2018 (age 97)
Cause of Death: Unknown

Best known for his work with Michael Caine the film “Alfie” (1966), Lewis Gilbert would garner an Academy Award nomination for his role as producer on that film, not as director however. Throughout his career, he would stick to film and would eventually direct three of the James Bond / 007 films: “You Only Live Twice,” “The Spy Who Loved Me,” and “Moonraker.” Although he will truly be missed, his legacy will love on forever.
