DEADPOOL 2 || Ryan Reynolds has been everywhere promoting his latest film “Deadpool 2,” showing up in commercials for Trolli Gummies in the shape of his tiny hands from the first “Deadpool,” starring opposite David Beckham in a TV spot, partnering with 7Eleven to bring new Slurpees and Chimichangas to the brand, and showing up on a Korean game show titled “King Of Mask Singer.” But tomorrow, May 15th, through 20th Century Fox and Wal-Mart, Deadpool will be photobombing fellow Fox re-releases, everywhere from the recent X-Men back catalog to films like “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly,” “Edward Scissorhands,” and “Cast Away.” It appears the Blu-Rays will also contain discounted tickets to “Deadpool 2” as well. SUSPIRIA || Director Luca Guadagnino’s remake of the 1977 horror film “Suspiria” not only got a release date announced today, which is November 2 of this year, but it also got some stills, both of which involve Dakota Johnson and her character as a dancer. Tilda Swinton, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Mia Goth also star. Read more at: Screen Rant.
THE GINGERBREAD MAN || In yet another Stephen King updated, his novella titled “The Gingerbread Man” has been optioned by Brainstorm Media. Director Craig R. Baxley will helm the film, having collaborated with King on the adaptations of “Storm Of The Century,” “Kingdom Hospital,” and “Rose Red.” Read more at: Deadline.

WESTWORLD || Next week’s episode of “Westworld,” episode five titled “Akane No Mai,” will feature a long hard look at the Shogun World, with Thandie Newton having a huge role in the episode, brandishing a Samurai sword and proclaiming that she’s found her voice. See preview below:
LETHAL WEAPON || As reported last week, actor Clayne Crawford has been fired from the set of “Lethal Weapon,” which was picked up for a third season. Now, today, following a scramble to find a new co-star for Daman Wayans, Fox has announced that “American Pie” actor Seann William Scott will be taking his place in Season Three. THE WALKING DEAD || Actress Lauren Cohen caused a commotion in the world of television recently, as she appeared in a pilot for ABC titled “Whiskey Cavalier.” Many wondered if this meant she would not be returning to “The Walking Dead” for Season Nine, especially as the CIA comedy got picked up for a series order by the network. Cohen has made it clear that her appearance on “Walking Dead” will be somewhat limited but she will have filmed her portions prior to shooting “Whiskey” this summer. Read more at: Variety.
