SPAWN || Jamie Foxx will be starring as the title role in the Blumhouse produced “Spawn” film, being delivered by the man that originally wrote the comic series, Todd McFarlane, who will be making his directorial debut. Read more at: Variety.

HAPPYTIME MURDERS || Over the weekend, it was reported that the non-profit behind “Sesame Street” was suing STX for their reference to the children’s show in their advertising for the puppet comedy “Happytime Murder.” STX released a statement as well as posting a picture of their muppet lawyer. MORGAN FREEMAN || After allegations posed at him last week, Morgan Freeman has responded by denying claims and has now had his attorney ask for certain things to be retracted from the original CNN article along with an apology. Read more at: ABC News.

ROSEANNE || Despite originally being picked up for another season, the future of the ABC series “Roseanne” has come to an abrupt end after star Roseanne Barr made a racial comment about a former Obama staff member on Twitter. She has since apologized and said she was leaving Twitter. No response from the cast or crew have been made. Read more at: CNN.

THE WALKING DEAD || All good things must come to an end. Reported today, Andrew Lincoln has officially stated that the ninth season of the widely popular AMC zombie show will be his final turn as Rick Grimes. [SPOILER] Having killed off Chandler Riggs’ Carl earlier this season, as well has Steven Yeun’s Glenn awhile back, plus with Lauren Cohen reportedly putting in less time this upcoming season to star on her new show that was ordered to series, “Whiskey Cavalier,” that show is bleeding talent. Hopefully they figure out how to bring some new, badly needed talent on for next season, with Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s role looking to get a whole hell of a lot small as well. Read more at: Collider.
