CHRIS HARDWICK || In the latest abuse accusations, Nerdist star Chris Hardwick as been called out (not by name however) by former girlfriend Chloe Dykstra, who wrote an article on Medium detailing the emotional abuse she faced while dating him over the course of three years, ultimately ending, to which his set out to blacklist her from Hollywood. Over the weekend, Hardwick’s returning talk show “Talking With Chris Hardwick” was scheduled to premiere, with guest Donald Glover, which was filmed about a month ago, but was pulled with a statement about assessing the situations. Hardwick has also been pulled from his San Diego Comic Con panels as well as the game show he hosts called “The Wall” being postponed as well. Hardwick has since responded to the allegations, stating his innocence. Read more at: CNN.

CAPTAIN MARVEL || Marvel has announced that they will have their first female composer in Pinar Toprak, as she will take on the score for “Captain Marvel.” Her previous work includes dozens of small movies all the way through 2004 as well as the score for the television series “Krypton.” Read more at: The Hollywood Reporter.



NOBODY’S FOOL || A woman who gets released from prison and reunites with her sister, who discovers she is in an online relationship with a man that may be “catfishing” her. Directed by Tyler Perry, starring Tiffany Hadish and Whoopi Goldberg, produced by Paramount Pictures, and due in theaters This Fall.


LIKE FATHER || When a workaholic young executive (Kristen Bell), is left at the altar, she ends up on her Caribbean honeymoon cruise with the last person she ever expected: her estranged and equally workaholic father (Kelsey Grammer). The two depart as strangers, but over the course of a few adventures, a couple of umbrella-clad cocktails and a whole lot of soul-searching, they return with a renewed appreciation for family and life. Like Father premieres August 3 only on Netflix.
