JAWS on PRIME VIDEO

Last week, Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park” took the top stop. This week, we jump back eighteen years to Spielberg’s “Jaws,” which is available on Prime Video, along with several of the sequels that followed. A perfect summer-time movie and fits in with the upcoming release of Warner Bros’ “The Meg” starring Jason Statham. With Dwayne Johnson’s “Skyscraper” out in theaters this weekend, it might be time to catch up on anything of The Rock’s that you’ve missed this year. “Rampage” hits home video next weekend, but you can now stream “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle” on Starz, which is set for an upcoming sequel with the returning cast. Later this year you can see Johnny Depp in “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” as the villain, but on Shudder you can see him in Roman Polanski’s “The Ninth Gate.” Later this summer, you can see Denzel Washington in “The Equalizer 2,” but on Hulu you can see him in Jonathan Demme’s remake of “The Manchurian Candidate.”

Earlier this year, Chadwick Boseman played the title superhero in “Black Panther,” but last year he was playing Marshall Thurgood in the Academy Award nominated film “Marshall,” which is now available on Showtime Anytime. Before he had a role in Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” Laurence Fishburne took a role in a small science fiction film titled “The Signal.” He also appeared in the DC films “Man Of Steel” and “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” as Clark Kent’s boss. “Justice League,” which was a sequel to those, is now available on HBO Go. Batman himself, Ben Affleck, directed his brother in the 2007 film “Gone Baby Gone,” which is available on Netflix. The voice of Rocket Raccoon and Mystique from the “X-Men” series, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, worked together on a period film that should have been a bigger deal than it ended up being titled “Serena,” which is available on Hulu.
