JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM (2018)

Official Synopsis: It’s been three years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles. When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.

SUPERGIRL: SEASON THREE (2017-2018)

Official Synopsis: In the third season of this drama series, Kara (Melissa Benoist) is struggling with the loss of her former lover, Mon-El (Chris Wood), after he is forced to depart Earth. To avoid dealing with these emotions, Kara chooses to focus on her Supergirl alter ego and must face a strange new threat against National City. Meanwhile, J’onn (David Harewood) discovers his father is still alive. Plus, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kara unknowingly befriend a Kryptonian survivor.

MY MAN GODFREY (1936)

Official Synopsis: Carole Lombard and William Powell dazzle in this definitive screwball comedy by Gregory La Cava—a potent cocktail of romantic repartee and social critique. Irene (Lombard), an eccentric, wealthy Manhattanite, wins a society-ball scavenger hunt after finding a “forgotten man” (Powell)—an apparent down-and-out drifter—at a dump. She gives him work as the family butler and soon falls head over heels for him. Her attempts to both woo Godfrey and indoctrinate him in the household’s dysfunction make for a string of madcap high jinks that has never been bested. La Cava’s deft film was the first to garner Oscar nominations in all four acting categories, and it is one of Hollywood’s greatest commentaries on class and the social unrest of the Depression era.

BROKEN STAR (2018)

Official Synopsis: BROKEN STAR is a psychological thriller that follows, Markey Marlowe (Analeigh Tipton, Warm Bodies), a young, ambitious actress, who will stop at nothing to ensure everlasting fame. After many encounters with the law, she is sentenced to house arrest where she manipulates her recluse landlord (Tyler Labine, Super Troopers 2) to fulfill her demonic desires. Directed by first-time feature film director Dave Schwep and written by David Brant, the film also stars Monique Coleman (High School Musical) and Lauren Bowles (Hall Pass).

DAMSEL (2018)

Official Synopsis: Samuel Alabaster (Robert Pattinson), an affluent pioneer, ventures across the American Frontier to marry the love of his life, Penelope (Mia Wasikowska). As Samuel traverses the Wild West with a drunkard named Parson Henry (David Zellner) and a miniature horse called Butterscotch, their once-simple journey grows treacherous, blurring the lines between hero, villain and damsel. A loving reinvention of the western genre from the Zellner brothers (Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter), DAMSEL showcases their trademark unpredictability, off-kilter sense of humor, and unique brand of humanism.

FAHRENHEIT 451 (2018)

Official Synopsis: Michael B. Jordan (“Black Panther,” “Creed,” “Fruitvale Station”) and Michael Shannon (“The Shape of Water,” HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”; Oscar (R) nominee for “Nocturnal Animals” and Revolutionary Road”) star in HBO Films’ FAHRENHEIT 451. Directed by Ramin Bahrani (“99 Homes”) and written by Bahrani & Amir Naderi (“Vegas: Based on a True Story”), the film is based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel of the same name, depicting a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and “firemen” burn books.

SIBERIA (2018)

Official Synopsis: American diamond merchant Lucas goes to Russia for a deal, but the deal starts to fall apart and his partner goes missing. Lucas soon becomes entangled in a relationship in Siberia with a Russian cafe owner, Katya. The love affair escalates along with the diamond trade world, and Lucas struggles to escape.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT (2017)

Official Synopsis: The fictional city of Brookfield Heights, Michigan is left divided by the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Local restaurant owner Ally Mayfair-Richards (Sarah Paulson) is utterly distraught by Donald Trump’s victory and several of her longstanding phobias, including coulrophobia, hemophobia, and trypophobia, flare up as a result. Similarly devastated is fellow Brookfield Heights resident Winter Anderson (Billie Lourd), a liberal college dropout. Contrarily, Kai Anderson (Evan Peters), Winter’s estranged and manipulative brother, rejoices at the election results and is enticed to pursue political power. Kai recruits a disillusioned Winter and frustrated newscast reporter Beverly Hope (Adina Porter).

Ally finds herself relentlessly terrorized by masked clowns. Those close to her, including her psychiatrist Dr. Rudy Vincent (Cheyenne Jackson), question whether the attacks are real or merely anxiety-fueled hallucinations. Ally’s paranoia, escalated by suspicious activities perpetrated by new neighbors Harrison (Billy Eichner) and Meadow Wilton (Leslie Grossman), hinders her relationships with her wife Ivy (Alison Pill) and their son (Cooper Dodson).
