THE AMERICANS: THE COMPLETE FINAL SEASON

Official Synopsis: It’s 1987, and the Center in USSR is split into two factions: one for supporting Gorbachev and the other for overthrowing him. The Jennings are similarly divided, with Elizabeth (Keri Russell) actively taking cases from her KGB handler Claudia (Margo Martindale) to foil Gorbachev’s summit with Reagan and Philip (Matthew Rhys) making attempts at living a normal life. Additionally, Elizabeth has begun training their daughter Paige (Holly Taylor) as a Soviet agent. Things take a sudden turn when Elizabeth learns the truth about her missions from Claudia, and the Jennings are faced with a decision that can change their lives forever. The sixth season of “The Americans” also stars Brandon J. Dirden as FBI Agent Dennis Aderholt, Noah Emmerich as FBI Agent Stan Beeman, Costa Ronin as former KGB officer Oleg Burov, and Keidrich Sellati as Henry Jennings.

TWILIGHT (2008)

Special Features:

Official Synopsis: When Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) reluctantly moved to the perpetually overcast town of Forks, WA, and set out to carve a niche for herself, she assumed it would be one similar to the low-profile social position she held back in Phoenix. First on the list of surprises was the unfamiliar attention from the male population of her new high school; second, the attention from one male in particular: Edward Cullen, Vampire (Robert Pattinson). Before long, the unlikely soul mates find themselves in a passionate relationship with a variety of significant setbacks, including Edward’s special-needs diet (he doesn’t eat humans, but Bella’s scent inspires a nearly impossible to harness bloodlust) and the human girl’s mortality. Though things proceed relatively smoothly at first (Edward even introduces Bella to his adoptive vampire family), a visiting vampire clan consisting of James (Cam Gigandet), Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre), and Laurent (Edi Gathegi) catches Bella’s unique scent and threatens the young couple’s budding, if dangerous, happiness. James, known for his powerful tracking ability, becomes obsessed with making Bella his next victim. Fearing for Bella’s safety and that of her loved ones, the Cullens must combine their collective talents in order to stop the highly predatory James before his goal is accomplished.

Audio Commentary with Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart, and Robert Pattinson: It is what it is, but if you want to hear some comments from Edward and Bella, then you should watch with the commentary on.

Music Videos: Stephenie Meyer and Catherine Hardwicke introduce the videos. The video by Muse of “Supermassive Black Hole” is an excellent song. This song plays during the baseball game which is a great scene, and the catalyst for the rest of the movie. Paramore wrote the end credit song “Decode” and the video shows scenes throughout. “Leave Out All the Rest” by Linkin Park is fantastic and bittersweet as we listen and watch the magic of Chester Bennington mesmerize us more than maybe the movie does.

Extended Scenes: The extended scenes are in the special features, but if you want to watch the movie with the extended scenes included, then watch the digital copy.

Deleted Scenes: Catherine Hardwicke introduces the deleted scenes. They are short and sweet and include one of Kristen Stewart’s favorite scenes.

The Adventure Begins: The Journey From Page To Screen: There is so much in here. This gives you it all – from the very beginning to pre-production, to the best scene ever (vampire baseball), the final battle, to post production.

The Comic-Con Phenomenon: This is the first San Diego Comic-Con that Twilight appeared and it’s really adorable to see them all so young, nervous, and amazed at how much everyone loves these characters. Taylor Lautner looks about 14 years old.

Theatrical Campaign:: Includes a world premiere sneak peek, teaser trailers, and full trailers.
