The man that brought Chewbacca to life through the original “Star Wars” trilogy and several films after, Peter Mayhew, has passed away at the age of 74. He retired from the suit after J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” due to health reasons. Although he may be gone, his legacy will live on in his work forever.
