The awards were held in Berlin, Germany on December 7, 2019 at 19:00 CET (10am PST), hosted by Aiste Dirziute & Anna BrĂĽggemann. The big winner was “The Favourite,” which took home eight awards, including Best European Film and Best European Director. Director Werner Herzog was on hand to accept his Lifetime Achievement Award and actress Juliette Binoche attended to accept her European Achievement in World Cinema Award.
