Even though “Marriage Story” swept three of the four acting awards plus the Best Screenplay category and “The Irishman” won Best Director and Best Supporting Actor, it was “Parasite” that ultimately was award the Best Picture of 2019 by the Detroit Film Critics Society at their annual awards.
