- The St. Louis Film Critics Association (StLFCA) is an organization of professional film critics operating in the greater metropolitan St. Louis area and adjoining areas of Missouri and Illinois. The StLFCA was founded in late 2004.
- Each year in December, the St. Louis Film Critics Association bestows awards on those films that exhibit excellence in particular categories.
- Eligible films are those that opened in the greater St. Louis area during the 2019 calendar year, including those that were given awards-qualifying runs in 2018, but were not available to all StLFCA members until 2019. Films slated for release in the St. Louis area early in 2020 are also eligible if a press screening, DVD screener, or screening link was provided to all StLFCA members.
- “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” has the most nominations with ten, while “The Irishman” and “Marriage Story” both have the second most with nine. “1917” has eight.
- The winners will be announced on Sunday, December 15th.
