“Parasite” and Bong Joon-Ho won big at the 92nd Academy Awards, taking home a total of four awards including Best Picture, Best Directing, Best International Feature Film, and Best Original Screenplay. That makes this a historic night, as a non-English film has never won the top prize in the past 92 years. Add to that the fact that South Korea has never even been represented at the Oscars and you’ve got a benchmark in the history books.
