
If we’re learning anything from this season’s critics awards, it is how much they all loved “Nomadland.” Not only did the San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle award the film their Best Picture category, but Chloé Zhao also won yet another Best Director and Best Editing award. “First Cow” was honored with Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Production Design while “Soul” won Best Animated Film and Best Original Score.
