What film could have won the Outstanding Original Score for a Studio Film award other than “Soul” and Trent Reznor and company? It’s been the score to watch this awards season and is, by far, the front-runner for the Academy’s Best Original Score category. “Husavik – My Hometown” from “Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga” won the Outstanding Original Song for Visual Media award. It’s a personal favorite song of mine on the Oscar shortlist and you’ve got to wonder if this win helps its chances to get an Oscar nomination.
