Last year, I guessed 89 out of the 124 nominees correctly. This year, I predicted 89 to the dot. However, since they combined the two sound mixing categories and only eight films were nominated for Best Picture, the total number ended up at 118. By lowering that number, my percentage actually got better, going from 72% last year to 75% this year. I nailed five categories perfectly, including Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Animated Feature, Best Cinematography, and Best Makeup & Hairstyling. I was off by one in nine categories. My worst categories, where I only got 2 of the 5 nominees, were Best International Feature and Best Production Design.
