In their first ever awards ceremony, the Set Decorators Society of America awarded “Promising Young Woman” and “Mank” as their choices for Best Achievement in Décor/Design of a Contemporary Feature Film and a Period Feature Film, respectively. For Sci-Fi/Fantasy, the award went to “Tenet” and for Comedy/Musical, they awarded “The Prom.” With “Mank” being the favorite to win the Academy Award for Best Production Design, this bodes well for Donald Graham Burt and company.
