“The Lost Daughter” and “CODA” were two big winners at the 31st Independent Film Project Gotham Awards. “The Lost Daughter” writer-director Maggie Gyllenhaal took the stage four times, winning Best Director and Best Screenplay, relaying Olivia Colman’s speech for winning Outstanding Lead Performance, and accepting the Best Feature award at the end of the show. Overall, the ceremony landed perfectly, with an equal amount of representation across the board.
