“The Power of the Dog” ravaged the New York Film Critics Online Awards, winning out in seven different categories including Best Picture and Best Director. The cast of “The Power of the Dog” took Best Ensemble, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor, while “Passing” took Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga. Director of “Passing,” Rebecca Hall, also took Best Debut Director. “West Side Story” won a pair of award for Best Use of Music and Best Breakthrough Performer for Ariana DeBose.
