If “The Power of the Dog” had not yet proved its dominance in the critical acclaim department, the Denver Film Critics Society continued to instill that sentiment, awarding it the Best Picture of the year. It also won Best Director, Actor, and Adapted Screenplay. One notable win was J.K. SImmons winning his first Supporting Actor award for his work in “Being the Ricardos.”
