Almost two years have gone by since we’ve had new episodes of “The Boys,” and my excitement for the new season is high. So the first three episodes of season three of “The Boys” was an easy pick for the return of the Streaming Guide. “Navalny” is a MUST-SEE documentary. I saw it during Sundance, and it remains one of my favorite films of the year. Speaking of favorites of the year, “1917” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” both Oscar winners, were some of my favorite films of their respective years. And speaking of Sundance, “The World to Come” was one of my favorite films from the festival last year.
Some recent releases from this year are now streaming, including “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” and “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.” Also, with the release of David Cronenberg’s “Crimes of the Future” this weekend, if you’re looking for more Léa Seydoux, I will be seeking out her in the 2014 adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast” (she’s also in “The Grand Budapest Hotel”). The home video release of “Dual” is just around the corner, and I’m in the mood to seek out director Riley Stearns’ earlier work “The Art of Self-Defense.” Lastly, with the recent release of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” (and the upcoming streaming release just around the corner), if you’re looking for more Elizabeth Olsen, don’t miss one of her first acting forays in “Martha Marcy May Marlene.”
