In the 3rd Annual Sunset Circle Awards, Todd Field’s “Tár” was the biggest recipient. Winning Best Film, Best Director, Best Leading Actress, Best Cinematography, and Best Screenplay, the closest any other film got to touching that number was “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” which received Best Supporting Actor and Best Ensemble. Some of the other films honored included big-budget fare like “Elvis,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “RRR,” along with some more minor works like Ti West’s “X” and “Aftersun.” Last year, “Dune” was the most awarded film by the Sunset Circle and went on to win six Oscars off of ten nominations.
