“Parasite,” “Minari,” and “The Power of the Dog” are the last three winners of Best Motion Picture named by the DiscussingFilm Critic Awards. Two of those went on to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards. DiscussingFilm Critics named “Everything Everywhere All At Once” the top prize this year. So if that goes on to win the Oscar for Best Picture, they’ll be 75% correct when picking the winner. If it does not, they’ll be at 50%. Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio” was another big winner, grabbing three awards, while “Nope” took three. Everything else split between several films, including “The Whale” and “The Banshees of Inisherin.”
