With the nominations for the 96th Academy Awards now announced, it’s time to see how I did in my predictions. I nailed 84 out of the 120 nominees, giving me 70% of the correct picks. There were four categories in which I hit on the entire category, including Best Picture, Actor in a Leading Role, Costume Design, and Original Screenplay. And I only missed one nominee in seven categories. My worst categories were Documentary Features and all the short films (Documentary, Animated, and live-action), where I only guessed one or two correctly.
