The movie “IF” claimed the top spot at the box office, with a North American debut of $33.7 million. Although slightly lower than some projections, its family-friendly appeal and solid audience reception make it a promising start to the summer movie season. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Cailey Fleming, and an ensemble voice cast, “IF” is an original story from writer, director, and star of the film John Krasinski. Paramount released it in theaters, and internationally, it earned an estimated $24 million, resulting in a $57.7 million global debut.
