FRIENDSHIP

Was “Friendship” written just for Tim Robinson? Because honestly, without him, it would be a completely different film. His facial expressions and the way he delivers every single line—that IS the comedy. I can’t imagine anyone else pulling it off like he does. Paul Rudd and Kate Mara are fun too—definitely not the kind of roles you usually see them in, which makes it even better. The story kind of runs out of steam partway through, but Robinson’s awkward, uncomfortable kind of humor and Rudd’s natural charm keep it entertaining.
