Over the past two weekends, the Primetime Emmy Awards handed out trophies to celebrate the year’s best in television. In comedy, The Studio emerged as the big winner, taking home five major awards along with a handful of technical ones. Hacks also had a strong showing, with Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder both scoring acting wins. On the flip side, The Bear walked away empty-handed despite multiple nominations.
In the drama race, newcomer The Pitt made a splash by winning three acting awards plus the coveted Outstanding Drama Series prize. Severance wasn’t far behind, picking up several acting honors of its own and dominating the technical categories. Meanwhile, Adolescence swept through the Limited or Anthology field, edging out The Penguin in nearly every matchup. The one exception came when Cristin Milioti won Best Lead Actress—an award untouched by the Adolescence juggernaut.
