CRIME 101
Alliance Entertainment | 2026 | 140 min | Rated R
Directed by Bart Layton
Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, Crime 101 weaves the tale of an elusive jewel thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose string of heists along the 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime, his path crosses that of a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) who is facing her own crossroads. Convinced he has found a pattern, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) is closing in, raising the stakes even higher. As the heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are faced with life-defining choices–and the realization that there can be no turning back. Adapted from Don Winslow’s acclaimed novella of the same name, the film is written and directed by Bart Layton (American Animals, The Imposter). Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte round out the cast.

Jackie Chan’s Breakout Hits!
(DRUNKEN MASTER II | RUMBLE IN THE BRONX | THUNDERBOLT | POLICE STORY 4: FIRST STRIKE | MR. NICE GUY | WHO AM I?)
Arrow | 1994-1998 | 6 Movies, 14 Cuts | 642 min | Rated R
Directed by Stanley Tong, Jackie Chan, Benny Chan, Gordon Chan, Chia-Liang Liu, Sammo Kam-Bo Hung
He was the biggest movie star in the East for two decades, but Hong Kong action legend Jackie Chan had never successfully cracked the West… until the 1990s kicked off a six-film run of phenomenal smash hits that would finally make him an international household name, instantly synonymous with the most jaw-dropping and death-defying stunts ever put on screen!
1994’s Drunken Master II sees Jackie back as Wong Fei-hung, the role that first made his name, and teaming up with Shaw Brothers legends Lau Kar-leung and Ti Lung to deliver the ultimate, era-defining love letter to classic kung fu. The following year saw Jackie’s first number one box office success in America thanks to Rumble in the Bronx, in which he visits New York City and must defend his friends and family against vicious street gangs and ruthless smugglers, followed by Thunderbolt in which Jackie is forced to compete behind the wheel against a criminal street racer who has kidnapped his sister. In the fourth entry of the much-beloved Police Story series (also known as First Strike), Jackie chases a stolen nuclear warhead on an explosive globe-trotting secret mission; Chan’s “big brother” Sammo Hung takes the director’s chair in Mr. Nice Guy as Jackie plays a TV chef in Australia forced to do bloody battle against the mob; and finally in Who Am I?, our hero is an ass-kicking amnesiac on the trail of a mysterious new power source as well as his own lost identity.
Finally together and restored in 4K for the first time, this collection of unparalleled martial arts madness chronicles Jackie Chan’s crossover to worldwide superstardom (just before Rush Hour made him a bonafide Hollywood icon), in which no bone in his body is left unbroken in his quest to leave you entertained!

Directed by John R. Leonetti, Paul W.S. Anderson
A high-impact fusion of martial arts mayhem, fantasy spectacle and video game mythology, the Mortal Kombat films brought arcade combat to the big screen with bone-crunching action, iconic characters and pure 90s attitude, helping turn a controversial fighting game into a global pop culture phenomenon.
Kicking off in 1995, Mortal Kombat, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, delivers a fast paced, crowd-pleasing adaptation that pits Earth’s greatest fighters against the forces of Outworld in a no-holds-barred tournament for the fate of humanity. Featuring unforgettable characters like Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage and the thunderous Raiden, the film blends martial arts choreography, fantasy world-building and a now legendary electronic soundtrack to create one of the most influential video game movies of its era. The saga continues with 1997’s Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, expanding the scale and mythology as the battle spills beyond the tournament into an-all out war between realms. Sangster Directs Hammer
(The Horror of Frankenstein / Lust for a Vampire / Fear in the Night)
Severin Films | 1970-1972 | 3 Movies | 286 min | Not Rated
Directed by Jimmy Sangster
With screenplays for such ’50s/’60s Hammer Films classics as THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, HORROR OF DRACULA, THE MUMMY and more, he became one of the very best writers in the genre. But when Jimmy Sangster returned to Hammer in the ’70s to direct the only feature films of his career, he delivered three of the most unique shockers in the studio’s history.
In THE HORROR OF FRANKENSTEIN starring Ralph Bates as the sociopathic monster maker, Sangster brings both black humor and deep red dismemberment to Mary Shelley’s iconic tale. Sangster takes fanged lesbian desires to seductive new levels with LUST FOR A VAMPIRE, featuring Yutte Stensgaard as the titular bloodsucker. Judy Geeson, Ralph Bates, Joan Collins and the legendary Peter Cushing star in Sangster’s acclaimed FEAR IN THE NIGHT, a taut psycho-thriller with a dark giallo edge.
Each film is presented in 4K Blu-ray for the first time ever in North America, now scanned in 4K from their original camera negatives by StudioCanal. This collection also includes the 312-page book Horror! Lust! Fear! Sangster featuring essays, interviews, comic adaptations and more, plus 19 combined hours of comprehensive new & archival Special Features produced and curated by Severin Films.

Wake In Fright
Arrow | 1971 | 109 min | Not Rated
Directed by Ted Kotcheff
Raw and brutal in its depiction of Outback country drinking culture in the 1970s, Wake in Fright is an uncompromising landmark of Australian cinema from director Ted Kotcheff (First Blood).
John Grant (Gary Bond, Zulu), a bored schoolteacher working in the remote outback, stops overnight in the frontier mining town of Bundanyabba on his way back to Sydney for the Christmas holidays. After he loses all his savings in a bad gambling bet, Grant finds himself marooned and swept up in the vortex of a succession of hard-drinking, hard-living and crude men led by Doc (Donald Pleasence, Halloween) who threaten to make him just as crazy, drunk, and violent as they are.
Ignored upon release, Wake in Fright has now been acclaimed as one of Australia’s most legendary, unique and horrifying contributions to cinema history by the likes of Martin Scorsese and Nick Cave, and is presented here in a definitive 4K restoration.

Brit Noir: Collection II
(Home at Seven / The Intruder / The Long Arm)
Kino Lorber | 1952-1956 | 3 Movies | Not Rated
Directed by Charles Frend, Ralph Richardson, Guy Hamilton
The mighty Jack Hawkins (The Cruel Sea, The Bridge on the River Kwai) takes center stage in this triple feature of brilliant British noir. Home at Seven (1952) – Ralph Richardson reprises his role from R.C. Sherriff’s play as a bank clerk whose inexplicable amnesia leaves him without an alibi after a murder-robbery. Co-starring Hawkins and the marvelous Margaret Leighton, this twisty mystery (a.k.a. Murder on Monday) saw Richardson direct for the first and only time in his illustrious career. The Intruder (1953) – The horrors of war come back to haunt a former World War II colonel (Hawkins) when an armed man (Michael Medwin), who once fought bravely under the colonel’s command, breaks into his home. The gripping second feature from future 007 master Guy Hamilton (Goldfinger). The Long Arm (1956) – Reuniting with his Cruel Sea director Charles Frend, Hawkins leads a Scotland Yard investigation into a spate of safe-cracking crimes across England, beginning with the latest heist in London. Known as The Third Key in the U.S., the film adopts a gritty procedural style made popular by Ealing in 1950’s The Blue Lamp.

Last Summer
(WARNER ARCHIVE COLLECTION)
Warner Bros. | 1969 | 97 min | Rated R
Directed by Frank Perry
Set during a languid season on Fire Island, Last Summer is a stark and unsettling coming-of-age drama that captures the disaffection and moral drift of the late 1960s with unflinching honesty. Directed by Frank Perry (Diary of a Mad Housewife) and adapted by Eleanor Perry from Evan Hunter’s provocative novel, the film follows four teenagers—played by Barbara Hershey, Richard Thomas, Bruce Davison, and Catherine Burns (in an unforgettable Oscar®-nominated performance)—whose summer of idle freedom and social detachment gradually gives way to tragedy. Shot in a naturalistic style, Last Summer eschews easy judgments, instead presenting a chilling examination of youthful entitlement and emotional void. Perry’s restrained direction and the cast’s fearless performances lend the film a haunting authenticity that resonates long after the final frame. Last Summer is one of the most powerful, daunting, and uncompromising American films of its time. Long unavailable for viewing, Last Summer has been meticulously restored and reconstructed especially for this Warner Archive Blu-ray presentation.

Letty Lynton
(WARNER ARCHIVE COLLECTION)
Warner Bros. | 1932 | 84 min | Not Rated
Directed by Clarence Brown
Joan Crawford gives a striking performance in one of her most memorable roles, portraying Letty Lynton, a young woman caught in a web of love, betrayal, and resilience. In the high-stakes world of the 1930s social elite, Letty Lynton (Crawford) is a woman seeking an escape from a toxic, suffocating life in South America. Haunted by a volatile affair with the possessive Emile Renaul (Nils Asther), she flees toward New York, finding a chance at redemption—and true love—in the arms of the wealthy, earnest Jerry Darrow (Robert Montgomery) during a glamorous transatlantic crossing. But the past refuses to stay buried. When the ship docks, Emile is waiting with a blackmail scheme designed to destroy Letty’s future, forcing her to take matters into her own hands. Directed by Clarence Brown style and substance, critics and audiences embraced the film, which gave Crawford the opportunity to take advantage of sleek gowns provided by M-G-M’s famed designer Adrian. The acclaim for Letty Lynton, released only weeks before another impressive star turn in the studio’s Grand Hotel, firmly established Crawford status as a screen superstar.

Matinee
(Kino Cult #51)
Kino Lorber | 1989 | 93 min | Not Rated
Directed by Richard Martin
A 1989 meta-slasher in the tradition of Fade to Black and Popcorn, Matinee opens with a savage stabbing at a small-town cinema, forcing its closure. After two years, the case has gone cold and the Paramount theater is allowed to reopen. But as the lights go down, tensions rise, and the Halston Horror Film Festival once again becomes a deranged killer’s cinematic stalking ground. A hard-bitten cop (Ron White) leads a frantic search among a sea of red herrings. Could the murderer be the local bad boy (Jeff Schultz) or his girlfriend (Beatrice Boepple of A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child)? Perhaps the theater manager (Twin Peaks’ Don S. Davis) or the creepy filmmaker (William B. Davis, the Smoking Man of The X-Files)? And how many people will die before the curtain falls? Also released as Midnight Matinee (to avoid confusion with Joe Dante’s 1993 comedy), Matinee is a Canuxploitation classic and a horrorphile’s delight.

Swellegant and elegant. Deluxe and de-lovely. Cole Porter was the most sophisticated name in 20th-century songwriting. And to play him in this highly fictionalized biopic, Warner Bros. chose debonair icon Cary Grant. Alexis Smith plays the glamorous Linda, whose serendipitous meetings with Cole lead to a meeting at the altar. More than 20 Porter songs grace this tale of triumph and tragedy, with Grant lending his amiable voice to You’re the Top, Night and Day and more. Monty Woolley, a Yale contemporary of Porter, portrays himself. Jane Wyman, Ginny Simms, Eve Arden, and others provide vocals and verve, with a highlight being Mary Martin re-creating her Broadway debut performing “My Heart Belongs to Daddy.” Lights down. Start the Revolution Without Me
(WARNER ARCHIVE COLLECTION)
Warner Bros. | 1970 | 90 min | Rated PG
Directed by Bud Yorkin
Produced and directed by comedy veteran Bud Yorkin, Start the Revolution Without Me broke ground for a comedy revolution. It takes the tumultuous “let-them-eat-cake” days of the French Revolution and gives everyone a figurative pie in the face. The story begins when two sets of identical twins—one pair of bumbling peasants (Gene Wilder and Donald Sutherland) and one pair of arrogant aristocrats (also Wilder and Sutherland)—are separated at birth. Decades later, on the bloody eve of the French Revolution, a case of mistaken identity tosses the wrong brothers into the wrong lives. As the guillotine looms and the palace of Versailles descends into absolute chaos, these four unlikely heroes must navigate royal trysts, deadly duels, and a plot to overthrow King Louis XVI.

Strange Cargo

Warner Bros. | 1940 | 113 min | Not Rated
Directed by Frank Borzage
Reuniting Clark Gable and Joan Crawford for the eighth and final time, Strange Cargo stands as one of the most unusual and provocative films to be produced by M-G-M during its halcyon days. Frank Borzage brings his inspired directorial touch to this unique and atmospheric drama filled with adventure and romance. After escaping from a brutal penal colony in French Guiana, a group of convicts led by Verne (Gable) trek through a sweltering jungle toward uncertain freedom. Along the way, hard-boiled Julie (Crawford) joins the group which is guided—perhaps judged—by a quiet, enigmatic stranger (Ian Hunter). As exhaustion and danger threaten to overwhelm them, questions of guilt, faith, and redemption surface with striking emotional force. Featuring a standout supporting performance by Peter Lorre and moody cinematography that heightens the film’s dreamlike intensity, the film remains a fitting final pairing of Gable and Crawford and one of Frank Borzage’s most impressive directorial achievements.

Coaxing a hulking Mitchell-B25 airship into the sky from a short, 500-foot carrier runway on a bouncing sea is daunting and dangerous. Tougher still is doing it with a full load of bombs. But for Lt. Col. James Dolittle (Spencer Tracy) and the crewmen of 16 B-25s, that’s just the start of the mission. America’s first bold strike against the enemy mainland is underway. Oscar®-winning special effects recreate the squadron’s low-altitude, “hedgehopping” sweep over Japan in this action-packed and suspenseful saga of the attach that bolstered U.S. morale during the bleak early days of the Pacific war. Troll
(MVD REWIND COLLECTION)
MVD Visual | 1986 | 82 min | Not Rated
Directed by John Carl Buechler
When the Potter family moves into a new San Francisco apartment building, young Wendy Potter begins acting strangely–possessed by an ancient evil force. Unbeknownst to her family, Wendy has been taken over by Torok, a powerful troll wizard from a magical realm. Torok seeks to reshape the human world into a kingdom of mystical creatures, one apartment at a time.
As Torok begins transforming the building’s eccentric tenants into fantastical beings–goblins, fairies, and woodland monsters–each apartment unit turns into a bizarre, enchanted ecosystem. The only person who notices the growing strangeness is teenage Harry Potter Jr., Wendy’s older brother. As the building becomes a twisted labyrinth of vines, glowing fungi, and magical creatures, Harry turns to Eunice St. Clair, an elderly tenant with a mysterious past.
Eunice reveals that she is a centuries-old witch who once knew Torok in his human form. She teaches Harry about the ancient war between humans and magical creatures, and arms him with a magical spear to combat the spreading curse. With her guidance, Harry must navigate a world of illusion and danger to save his sister and stop Torok before the troll’s enchanted domain consumes the entire building–and possibly the world.
Filled with inventive practical effects, puppetry, and a mix of horror and fantasy, Troll blends fairy-tale whimsy with eerie creature horror. As Harry faces off against trolls, nymphs, and even a monstrous bat-like beast, the film builds to a magical showdown that tests courage, love, and the balance between two worlds.

The Worlds of Lucile Hadžihalilović
Severin Films | 2004-2025 | 4 Movies | 434 min | Not Rated
Directed by Lucile Hadzihalilovic
INNOCENCE
Lucile Hadžihalilović’s breakthrough debut is a dreamlike descent into a secluded boarding school where nostalgia and dread intertwine for “a surreal and unexpectedly euphoric” (Sight & Sound) examination of young sisterhood. César, BAFTA and Academy Award® winner Marion Cotillard stars in this “haunting and hypnotic fairy tale” (Seattle Post-Intelligencer) that Indiewire hails as “at once a feminist parable and bedtime story that unfolds like a crouching animal, waiting to pounce.” INNOCENCE is accompanied by two of Hadžihalilović’s acclaimed shorts, DE NATURA and NECTAR, both featuring personal introductions. Viewers can further explore this world through “Innocence Explained” by young actress Zoé Auclair, a scholarly video essay by Alexandra Heller-Nicholas and a Q&A recorded at the IFC Center In October 2025.
EVOLUTION
Lucile Hadžihalilović’s second feature is minimalist body horror about a boy who uncovers a mysterious world of inhuman biology and haunting transformation. Julie-Marie Parmentier (MURDEROUS MAIDS, FAREWELL MY QUEEN) stars in the startling film that has been described as “a gynocentric nightmare” (Chicago Reader), “a singular, daring vision” (Arizona Republic) and “a wondrous dream constantly on the verge of a nightmare” (Indiewire). This disc provides deep technical insight with a discussion between Hadžihalilović and cinematographer Manu Dacosse, alongside an interview with co-writer Alanté Kavaïté.
EARWIG
The third feature and English-language debut by “the emergent champion of slow-burn, surrealist cinema” (The Guardian) is a Kafkaesque fable of fatherhood, isolation and teeth made of ice. Paul Hilton (LADY MACBETH), Romola Garai (SUFFRAGETTE) and Alex Lawther (THE IMITATION GAME) star in Lucile Hadžihalilović’s surreal neo-noir that The New York Times calls “a trip down the darkest of rabbit holes,” accompanied by what Sight & Sound hails as “enigmatic, oneiric visions that burrow their way into darker crevices of the viewer’s consciousness.” Adapted from the novel by Brian Catling (The Vorrh), EARWIG is deconstructed through Special Features that include interviews with the director, co-writer Geoff Cox and cinematographer Jonathan Ricquebourg.
THE ICE TOWER
Two decades after the stunning breakthrough of INNOCENCE, Marion Cotillard reunites with writer/director Lucile Hadžihalilović for her award-winning fourth feature, a meta-fantasy freely inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen. Clara Pacini, August Diehl (INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS) and Gaspar Noé co-star in this “mesmerizing and unnerving masterpiece in which reality, cinema, and fantasy become one of a kind” (Collider) from “a filmmaker with an uncompromising voice — one that continues to whisper strange, scary things into our ears” (The Hollywood Reporter). This final disc contains introspective content, including an interview by Beatrice Loayaza, two additional Q&As from the IFC Center, a second video essay by Alexandra Heller-Nicholas and a technical interview with Jonathan Ricquebourg.
