Cause of Death: Undisclosed Illness
Director Milos Forman may not have been the most household name, but his work speaks for itself. Having won two Academy Awards and nominated for a third, his short filmography lead to some of the most well-known films to date, including “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest,” starring Jack Nicholson, “Amadeus,” starring F. Murray Abraham, and “The People vs. Larry Flynt,” starring Woody Harrelson. He was also the man behind the Andy Kaufman biopic “Man On The Moon,” starring Jim Carrey, and as we saw in the most recent documentary about the film, titled “Jim and Andy,” we got to see a behind-the-scenes look at the true headache that Carrey’s method acting gave to the director. Forman has been immortalized by his work. Although he will truly be missed, his legacy will live on forever.
