“The Power of the Dog” was once again picked as the big winner, this time by the Southeastern Film Critics Association. The film took Best Picture and Best Director, three of the four acting awards, and Adapted Screenplay. “The French Dispatch” took the Ensemble Award, “Licorice Pizza” took Best Original Screenplay, and “Dune” took a pair of technical awards.
