Here we are, in the heart of the critics’ awards season, and here we are again honoring “Everything Everywhere All At Once” for Best Picture. This time, the Southeastern Film Critics Association is naming it their favorite film of the year, along with Best Directing, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Original Screenplay. They also followed suit in naming some actors from “The Banshees of Inisherin” as the best of the year, including Colin Farrell for Actor and Kerry Condon for Supporting Actress. The way the season is going, these two films have more than an excellent shot at getting plenty of Oscar nominations.
