
Traveling off the beaten path, the Dublin Film Critics Circle named “The Quiet Girl” their Best Film of 2022, awarding it Best Irish Film as well. “The Banshees of Inisherin” won two awards, including Best Screenplay and Best Actor. And, it was Charlotte Wells and her work on “Aftersun” (which came in 2nd place for Best Film) that won Best Director.
